About the Artwork

Bright green tearing through black like something breaking through from the other side — Beyond #1 is the kind of pour that takes over.

The acrylic found that center point and everything moved outward from it, white catching the edges, dark holding the perimeter. It looks like a nebula.

It looks like something alive. I didn’t set out to paint space, but that’s where it went, and it felt right to let it.
