About the Artwork

Dark hills on the horizon, deep blue atmosphere, a stretch of green terrain that feels like it goes on forever — and something about it that doesn’t quite let you relax.

The Hills Have Eyes is layered fluid acrylic, built up in horizontal bands until the landscape started feeling less like scenery and more like it was watching back.

The gold along the top edge wasn’t planned. It stayed because it felt right — warm and slightly off, the way a place can be beautiful and unsettling at the same time.
